This is my personal project and one that is very close to my heart: Photographing one whole day in my life, it began a few years ago on Monday Jan 1, 2018 when I did 1 day a week switching days each week which I did for two years and then for year three I only did them for each full moon and changed the format of them. Now I'm in my fourth year of doing this project, I began with the intention of doing them weekly but that hasn't been happening so I'm doing them whenever it feels right up until I reach Week 52 but still focusing on our weekends or when we are all together and have returned to my original way of doing them which is choosing 25 images for the day. Hope you enjoy following along!

And it is that time again for another entry for Artefact motherhood, a beautiful blog circle which is a collaboration of artists & mothers from around the world sharing stories of the joys and struggles of our journey. These are more than photographs with dates written on the back. These are the artefacts we are leaving behind for children and the generations to come. Please have a look through mine and then check out the next artist in our circle

I Woke up feeling that I finally had some really good sleep! And you slept like a log all night long, you had fallen asleep around 18:40 and woke up just before 6:00 I think. You were so happy to see daddy still in bed with us and the two of you had the sweetest morning cuddles.

I didn't get much sleep last night due to the both of us needing to get up to wee several times. We were both up before daddy's alarm clock, but at least you got to kiss him goodbye and for some reason you made him take our little book of crystals with him to work. I'm still getting used to our hours of darkness in the mornings until the sun comes up.

I had such a craving for the sea air today, I really needed to smell it so we headed to our little beach but before we could do that we needed to go to Waitrose to get our ingredients for dinner. As usual it turned into quite the adventure, you were determined to carry the basket yourself and proceeded to grab the things on our list but as we walked past the tomatoes you just couldn't resist and had to grab one to eat.

We had a pretty good day. You had the best sleep ever, almost slept for 12 hours. You woke up at 6:00, I was already awake but just resting in bed next to you, and as soon as you opened your eyes you felt for me in the dark and then rushed up and ran downstairs looking for daddy, but when you realised you missed him you became so sad, sobbing that you just wanted to give him a cuddle. You came back to bed and we snuggled some more before getting up

We had such an incredible day, it was one of those days where you felt completely in flow with the universe! I Woke up just after 5 when your daddy woke up to get ready for work, I couldn't really sleep all night but woke up still feeling good although I stayed in bed. You had woken up by his alarm but went in for a cuddle with him and fell back asleep within 30 seconds. You woke up for real around 6 and shortly after we went downstairs.

You and I had a really nice day although not an incredibly exciting one. This morning I actually got up before you, I couldn't believe it, you looked so sweet in your sleep, I never get bored of watching you in dreamland. I went downstairs and one of my favourite things that happens if I get up before you is that when you do wake up (which was at 7:40 today) and come downstairs and turn into our living-room your face lights up with the biggest smile as you see me sitting on the couch and you immediately run to give me the best all consuming morning cuddles.

Today was an incredible day & it was day 4 of our last camping trip of the year. I woke up before the two of you and felt such bliss watching you sleep, I felt so grateful for all the experiences I get to share with you both. The other bed broke just as we were going to bed last night so we all squeezed in and cuddled up on one and surprisingly it was super cosy!

Today wasn't one of our best days (we were all running on empty after some rough nights & today marks almost a week of some very big changes for both you & me; you deciding to no longer nurse) I had the alarm set for 6:30 because I had to be up and ready for my driving lesson at 7:30.

It was an incredible day, one of those days that I think I'll remember forever! I Woke up feeling all the love, you woke me up with kisses and cuddles & by whispering sweet morning "I love you's" in my ear and I felt a continuous stream of little baby kicks. It all made me not mind in the slightest of being woken up at 4:30. Auntie Karen arrived yesterday so that she could be with you & daddy could come with me to our second baby scan appointment which was at 8:00 this morning in Southampton.

Today felt a bit intense & emotionally draining. It was a mixture of really amazing moments and really bad moments. It started out on a high note: You and I hadn't really seen your daddy for a couple of days other than maybe 5 min in the morning so we were both super happy that he had today and tomorrow off giving us a 4 day weekend together.

we woke up at 1:45 & I was not in not a very good mood. By 2 you turned the light on and wanted to read Tabby McTat, you were wide awake and ready to start the day. Daddy needed to wake up early for work so you and I went downstairs, at first I was a bit grumpy but once we made it down the stairs I was already in a better mood, you were in such a sweet mood that you immediately rubbed off on me!
