Everything has been a bit delayed since the arrival of our sweet little Forrest earlier this year and that includes getting this website done and getting all of the blog posts I want written finished! But I finally have a bit of time to spare while Forrest sleeps in the wrap and while my almost 4 year old daughter, Phoenix, is downstairs playing with daddy. 

I wanted to share a mini session I did towards the end of last autumn where I had the honours of meeting the beautiful baby Franklin, just two weeks old. If I could photograph newborns everyday of my life I would be so happy!  I love  capturing all the little moments that take place with the arrival of a new baby, I love seeing the interactions between siblings and witnessing the ever expanding love in mom and dad's face. 

I'll never forget my time with them, they are such a gorgeous and loving family which was evident as soon as I stepped foot into their home, I could literally just feel the love radiating off of them into every direction! I love to capture all the different aspects of motherhood & fatherhood in a very relaxed way & I prefer to take a documentary approach most of the time and will just capture the moments as they unfold but I also enjoy creating some imagery that is slightly more posed as well. I think a little bit of both gives you the best of both worlds!

My time with this beautiful family just whizzed by and from start to finish everything flowed, it felt as though I was just hanging out with good friends and that is what I hope all my clients feel when working with me. My sessions are relaxed, filled with laughter and most importantly love, lots of love!
