This project is incredibly personal and very close to my heart: photographing an entire day in my life. I began this journey back in 2018 and have never stopped since. In the beginning, I committed to capturing one full day every week for a whole year, faithfully documenting each moment. Over time, my approach has become more intuitive—I now photograph these days whenever the mood strikes me. Sometimes it’s weekly, sometimes more often, and other times weeks go by before I feel drawn to them again.
Once I collect 52 entries, I turn them into books—my most treasured keepsakes. If our house were ever to catch fire and everyone was safe, these are the things I would make sure to save. They truly are the greatest gift I’ve given to my family.
When the kids were younger, I shared all of my “Day In My Life” sessions openly, but as they’ve grown, I’ve chosen to keep these moments private—just for us. Below are a few of my favorite memories from the past.

Nixie you loved jumping down the sand dunes and then you decided to take your socks off and play in the water. You are so vibrant and free and it really is the most beautiful thing, you are full of the most incredible power, you kept reminding me of a lioness today. There was a lot of sea foam and it created the most fun for the both of you. Forrest you were really funny and kept walking super close to the edge and then running away from the waves, you were playing a little game.
