Just towards the end of the second lockdown, I had my first 'Through the Window' session and it was so incredibly special. "Lockdown two wasn’t a surprise for me. I hoped that it wouldn’t happen, but it wasn’t as big of a shock as it was the first time. It did bring a feeling of sadness though as the hope of seeing my mother, grandmother and my sister and her family this year was pushed back yet again."

This morning I woke up to the news that one of my images I had submitted to the international Documentary Family Awards actually placed third place in the Black Lives Matter category!

This was such an incredible session and one that I will always hold close to my heart. As soon as I entered their home I felt myself be washed over with the most beautiful rays of love. I know how that may sound but it is absolutely true! Their love between each other was so palpable that it radiated outwards and bathed me in it too. I Am forever grateful for these two beautiful souls.

I cannot believe one year has gone by since I first met sweet baby Cora. What a beautiful honour it has been to watch her grow up from a tiny newborn to a little girl over this past year.

This grey day in August has me revisiting past galleries which I never got around to sharing. This session was with Laura and her three children, sessions where the kids can just play and have fun are my favourite kind of sessions and this one was exactly that.
